Tri-n-butyltin hydride (TBT) is a reagent commonly used as a reducing agent and radical initiator in organic synthesis. It is often used as an intermediate in the synthesis of organotin compounds, such as tri-n-butyltin chloride and tri-n-butyltin iodide, which have applications as catalysts in organic reactions.
