CYANOCOBALAMIN INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Mecobalamin, and/or Cobalt. Before receiving CYANOCOBALAMIN INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have Leber’s disease (inherited form of vision loss), low potassium level (with associated signs such as muscle twitches/cramps, low blood pressure), optic nerve disease (swelling and nerve damage to the eyes), and kidney/liver problems.
CYANOCOBALAMIN INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) unless it is clearly necessary and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of receiving CYANOCOBALAMIN INJECTION are headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, skin rash, and/or hot flushes. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
