Amlodipine Besilate is the besylate salt form of Amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker (CCB) used primarily for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and certain forms of coronary artery disease. It acts by relaxing vascular smooth muscles, leading to a reduction in peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure.
