Cinacalcet hydrochloride is a medication that is available in an oral tablet form. It works as a calcium sensing receptor agonist and is used to treat certain medical conditions. The drug is administered to patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney disease and to those with hypercalcemia in parathyroid cancer.
