Pirfenex 200mg Tablet is an antifibrotic agent. It is used to treat mild cases of a lung disease called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The exact working of this medication is not known.Before using this medication notify your doctor if: you are allergic to any of the ingredients contained within Pirfenex 200mg Tablet, you have liver /kidney problems, you have any other allergies, you smoke, you are taking any other medications that may increase the chances of sunburn, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The dosage for this medication should be prescribed by the doctor based on your condition. The usual dose in adults for treating Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis is 267 mg orally thrice a day over a period of 1-7 days and 534 mg from days 8-14.
