Atacurium besylate is typically administered as an injection, and the dosage and duration of treatment depend on the patient’s age, weight, and response to the medication. The usual dosage for adults varies widely, but typically ranges from 0.3-0.6 mg per kg of body weight.<\/p>\n

As with any medication, atacurium besylate may cause side effects in some people. Common side effects may include changes in heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate, as well as muscle weakness and paralysis.
