1) As an Adjunct to Diet to Reduce Elevated Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride Levels in Patients with Primary hypercholesterolemia and Mixed Dyalipidemia
(Type IIa and IIIb). 2) In adult patients with type II diabetes and without
clinically evident coronary heart disease to reduce the
risk of myocardial infarction and stroke. 3) To
reduce the risk of stroke in adult patients without
clinically evident coronary heart disease but multiple risk
factors for coronary heart disease
